Hi Karen, The best I can determine from my limited research is that the speed at which COVID traveled worldwide was primarily attributed to international travel. As people traveled from one country or region to another, they unknowingly carried the virus with them and unwittingly caused it to spread from place to place. As a result, we were all vulnerable because we had no immunity to the virus.
