My other contribution to Thanksgiving was Double Chocolate Walnut Brownies; if I say so myself, they were out of this world! So if you love chocolate as much as I do, here is the third recipe I want to share with you. This recipe is from Oregon Specialty Fruits. Click the link below.

Double Chocolate Cherry Walnut Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 (1 pound 3.8 ounces) box of brownie mix. I used Ghirardelli Chocolate Triple Fudge Brownie Mix.
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cups sour cream
- 1 can Oregon dark sweet cherries drained
- 1 cup of chocolate chips. I used Ghirardelli Mini Dark Chocolate chips.
- 1/2 cup walnuts broken into large pieces
Note: For extra tastiness, top the cooked brownies with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix brownie, water, oil, eggs, and sour cream until blended.
- Slice dark sweet cherries in half.
- Add dark sweet cherries, chocolate chips, and walnuts to mix.
- Spread in greased 13 x 9″ pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick to see if the brownies are done, and add time if necessary.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
