Golden retrievers love water, but this love affair can lead to ear infections. Water trapped in their ears creates an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. I always dry Teddy’s ears thoroughly after a bath.

-Foreign Objects and Excessive Hair

Since Teddy’s infections have become chronic our vet recommended upping the frequency of his allergy shots to monthly. I will let you know if it makes a noticeable difference in his comfort and overall ear health.
