Teddy and Cosmo

The COVID-19 Pandemic has taken a toll on us physically and emotionally. As a result, I feel lonely, and I miss my family and friends. Therefore, I am going to focus on the value of friendship in this blog.

The friends we connect with impact our physical and mental health. Our friends support us and help us survive loneliness and fear.

So what is friendship anyway? According to Wikipedia, “Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendship

At the very bottom of the Wikipedia page appeared the following statement.

“Friendship is found among animals of higher intelligence, such as higher mammals and some birds. Cross-species friendships are common between humans and domestic animals. Cross-species friendships may also occur between two non-human animals, such as dogs and cats.”

May occur? Hmm, well, I can state unequivocally that Teddy and Cosmo have formed deep bonds of friendship! I think the following series of cute photos clearly document their friendship.

Teddy and Cosmo are the best of friends.

Teddy and Cosmo entertain us and make us smile too!

Teddy is eagerly waiting for his best friend, Cosmo!

Teddy and Cosmo are good-natured and well-socialized doggie boys who have formed friendship and loyalty bonds just like their human counterparts. But, perhaps even truer and more loyal than a human is capable of!
