Every week brings a new chapter in the Teddy and Bear Moments series, and this time, the adventure takes us straight into the heart of playtime. Teddy, Bear, and Summer have been sharing more than just games and laughter lately. They have been enjoying special snack creations that turn ordinary afternoons into little celebrations. Today’s story is all about one of those simple delights that made their tails wag in perfect harmony.
There is something special about playgroup days with Teddy, Bear, and Summer. The excitement starts the moment they hear the words “it’s snack time.” Tails wag, paws tap, and I can almost see their smiles before the snacks even make it to their bowls.
This time, I decided to serve up something extra special from my favorite doggy cookbook, Doggy Desserts, by Cheryl Gianfrancesco. Each pup received their very own “cup of joy,” layered with a slice of peanut butter muffin, a scoop of banana ice cream, and a swirl of whipped cream on top.
It was the perfect combination of creamy, crunchy, and tail-thumping happiness. Teddy went straight for the ice cream, Bear took his time savoring every crumb, and Summer, ever the lady, paused just long enough for a photo before diving in.
Watching them enjoy something I made with love always reminds me how simple joy can be. A sunny afternoon, a few homemade treats, and three happy dogs. That is what playgroup days are all about.
